Members of the Catawba County District Attorney’s Office wore blue clothing on Friday, April 5, 2024, to support the Children’s Advocacy and Protection Center of Catawba County in its efforts to help prevent child abuse. April is National Child Abuse Month, and the theme is “Building a Hopeful Future, Together.” The DA’s Office stands with the CAPC in its efforts to bring attention to and work to prevent child abuse. Members of the DA’s Office also will attend the Pinwheels for Prevention ceremony on Wednesday, April 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Zahra Baker Park in Hickory.
