Scott Reilly, right, took the oath of office as the 36th Prosecutorial District Attorney, serving Burke, Caldwell and Catawba counties during a special ceremony on January 1, 2023, in Catawba County. The Honorable Nathaniel J. Poovey, Senior Resident Superior Court Judge for Catawba County, administered the oath for Mr. Reilly, who will be serving his second term as the elected District Attorney.
