Taylor Ashley Rockett was welcomed by Scott Reilly to the 36th Prosecutorial District on Monday, May 13, 2019 as a new Assistant District Attorney. Rockett, a native of Burke County, graduated from East Burke High School before attending The University of North Carolina at Charlotte for her undergraduate degree, and the University of South Carolina for her Juris Doctor. Rockett will be working in District Court, prosecuting cases primarily out of the Morganton DA’s Office.
